About Us

Kristen-Seraphim Saga 1: The Devil is Mine is a 3D Action-Adventure RPG multiplayer interactive quest immersion. Based on the first three volumes of G.V. Loewen’s 11 volume epic ‘Kristen-Seraphim’, this game addresses the key real-world motifs of child abuse, self-doubt, addiction to violence, the transition to adulthood, intimacy, and group bonding in authentic community. The base game charts a two-level mystery. Two sisters, raised in an abusive home, are separated under dire circumstances. Their biographies diverge, both in the present and in the past. So much so that Kristen becomes God and Seraphim the Devil. They must reconcile both as siblings and as metaphysical figures, and the game is played out in an action-adventure puzzle solving dynamic. In Kristen’s quest to reunite with a sister she has forgotten she has, the old morality of good and evil is transfigured into a new ethics. This game is progressive and unique to the industry as it focuses upon four unusual components: 1. The personal challenges of the real-world players themselves lensed through the playable characters; 2. LGBTQ2 friendly given the genders, sexual orientations, and two-spirited motifs of the principles; 3. The characters develop psychologically and ethically and are not merely vehicles for the additions of skills, tools, and experience, and 4. The hero concept is community-based and does not rely on either the traditional solo figure or the idea that courage is about strength and authority, destiny or fate. In this game, players both confront their previous self-definitions and overcome them, rewriting history and fate alike.

Prefacing The Devil is Mine will be a playable 3D demo game called Waking Nightmare. In this demo title we will be showcasing the core gameplay elements we intend to present in The Devil Is Mine, without the content overhead of an entire story. Waking Nightmare will cover the events of the first book in the twisted twilight of a dream-like mystery-solving sequence in which the player must resolve each featurette-adventure before gaining access to the deeper origins behind the Kristen-Seraphim saga.

Vigilance hosts mobile game production alongside flagship ambitions. A short list of upcoming titles include Astral Rescue, an anti-poaching sci-fi mobile game where you man a UFO and attempt to rescue the local wildlife before the villains take them first! Blade Racer: a 2D ice-skating endless running platformer in a lighthearted post-ecological climate disaster future; Inner Imp: chase down your worst fear and find out its source from the dark but insightful imp.

In addition to digital media, Vigilance also specializes in the production of analog games. Anticipated for release in September of 2021, Just Honor is a tabletop role-playing game designed with a wider purpose than most - Just Honor will venture into the essential topics relating to our cultural past and the implications of small scale decisions on historical outcomes. Utilizing the ‘roll and keep’ dice rolling system, popularized by the well-known Legend of the Five Rings tabletop games, Just Honor is designed to facilitate intrigue while keeping the player immersed in their roll through fundamentally engaging game design.

Contrasting Just Honor our follow-up title, Anti-fable, wherein injustice and dishonor are the regrettable norms. Here, the player must confront a system that is all too convenient - the sense of hope found within Just Honor is elusive and the allegory to our own world transparent.
